Amazon Warehousing and Distribution (AWD) is building on that foundation with a bulk storage and distribution service for FBA sellers and innovating towards creating an integrated supply chain offering that can bring sellers products from factory floor to customer doors seamlessly.
The AWD organization is looking for a talented, motivated, self-directed Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will generate insights that will guide operational excellence and product development for our customers. Data analysis is at the core Amazon’s culture, and your work will have a direct impact on decision making and strategy for our team. You will be gathering customer insights, mining data, making recommendations, and helping senior leaders make key business decisions. You will have the opportunity to work with a large and complex data warehouse to gather insights using data from across Amazon.
Key job responsibilities

• Partner with AWD product managers, tech teams, program managers and other internal stakeholders globally to apply analytics to solve customer and associate problems
• Delivering business insights which help drive improvement in our defect metrics and drive customer satisfaction across AWD Domains.
• Interface with internal stakeholders to define, design, measure and present metrics / reports on different programs/products launches
• Helping product/program with regular and ad hoc query/ data ETL jobs and work on simplifying/ standardizing operational metrics and reporting
• Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions and partner with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities.

• Interface with business customers, gathering requirements and delivering complete reporting solutions.
• Analyzing data using Excel, Quicksight and other data management systems.
• Data extraction using SQL
  

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) experience
• 2+ years of complex Excel VBA macros writing experience
• Bachelors degree or equivalent
