Finance Control Specialist

What role you will play in team: You will be part of a team responsible for maintaining robust financial controls within Amazon's Indian operations. You will help ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

What you will do: This involves working closely with finance teams, reviewing processes, and identifying areas for improvement in efficiency and control.

Key responsibility:

• Conducting regular reviews of financial processes and controls.
• Identifying and assessing risks related to financial reporting and transactions.
• Developing and implementing controls to mitigate risks.
• Testing the effectiveness of existing controls and recommending improvements.

• Preparing documentation of financial control procedures.
• Collaborating with other teams to ensure consistent application of controls.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 1-2 years experience in internal audit, financial controls or a similar role within a large organization.
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting processes.
• Experience using financial systems and databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
