DESCRIPTION
Do you want to be the tech leader responsible for building a brand new lending product for Amazon India Do you want to enable hundreds of millions of Amazon customers to shop on Amazon using next generation credit products Do you want to be a part of the team that will enable you to deliver products handling highly sensitive customer data, at high traffic and minimum latency while handling cross-region calls if required Do you want to be a part of the team that will enable you to learn latest technologies and skills relevant in the software development industry This role provides opportunity to lead a tech team of high achievers, interact with top leaders of partner banks and NBFCs and build at scale a brand new lending product for Amazon India from scratch.

What are we looking for: You are innovative, resourceful, flexible and self-directed. You have experience in building high throughput and scalable applications. You gain the respect of software engineers, software test engineers and product managers quickly and youre able to excite customers, internal stakeholders and your team about vision of product and roadmap. You also like to roll up your sleeves and get hands on when necessary. Our ideal candidate prioritizes well, communicates clearly and compellingly, understands how to drive a high level of focus and excellence with a strong team and has a demonstrable track record of success building teams and delivering new features or products.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of engineering experience
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
