Packaging Executive, ROW Packaging Programs

Are you interested in improving packaging in Amazon’s supply chain? If packaging waste makes you cringe, Amazon’s global packaging organization may be the place for you. As part of the Packaging ROW team, this position is primarily responsible for driving analytics for the packaging team. They are also responsible for coordinating with multiple regional teams for delivering cross functional packaging programs, creating relevant dashboards to provide adequate visibility on both input and output metrics, closely collaborating with central analytics team. In addition to the analytics support, candidate will be responsible for driving multiple on ground packaging initiatives closely liaising with Fulfillment operations and Packaging labs. This position is within the Packaging Innovation organization and the work directly impacts global packaging automation and reduction goals, in support of Amazon’s Climate Pledge. This role includes limited travel to fulfillment centers.

Responsibilities Include

• Creating dashboards and supporting regional teams with required data mining
• Conduct both in-person and virtual packaging testing and document results
• Review 3rd-party test reports, demonstrating high attention to detail.
• Communicate with vendors and internal customers in a timely and concise manner
• Record activity and maintain data integrity in a variety of systems and tools.

• Provide packaging feedback to other Amazon teams.
• Participate in varied Packaging onsite and virtual support projects
• Review customer feedback.
• Manage multiple projects and varying tasks simultaneously.
• Supporting with project launches and trials.
• Supporting with OPA initiatives.
  

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in SQL and creating quicksight dashboards
• Willingness to travel
• Excellent Communication skills - written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering graduate preferable
• Proficiency in SQL, any relevant analytics certifications
