Responsibilities
As a GPV Investigator, you will be part of a team responsible for inspecting and auditing products sold by third-party sellers on Amazon.com store for various defects impacting Amazons customers. You will leverage various tools (microscopes, x-ray, et al), systems, standard operating procedures and job aids to assist in identifying product quality defects across a range of programs.The below are key areas of responsibility of this role:

• Conduct product investigations

• Update investigation tracking systems

The role focuses on building expertise in Global Product Verification (GPV) investigation techniques, which involves verifying that products meet global quality standards, analyzing product deviations, conducting product investigations across international markets, and contributing to GMP compliance and the overall quality system.
Basic Qualifications

• - 3+ years of quality assurance engineering experience, or Bachelors degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, operations research, business analytics, information systems or equivalent
• - Experience using computers and the internet
• - Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, and Excel
• - Experience working with large datasets, determining trends/patterns which can be used for value decisions
  

Preferred Qualifications

• - Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics or equivalent, or Associates degree
• - 2+ years of fraud/risk investigations experience
• - 3+ years of implementing metric-based strategies utilizing continuous improvement concepts, or 2+ years of fraud identification and detection, investigation and analysis for root causing and providing suitable preventive mechanisms experience
