Job Description
The Selling Partner Experience org goal is to drive growth and satisfaction while reducing Amazons cost-to-serve (CtS), enabling us to provide more value to sellers through our tools and services. As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving financial insights and supporting management decisions, particularly in the area of product experience that directly impacts business planning, operational expenses, and strategic investments across the organization.
Key job responsibilities
- Review and prepare financial analysis for program opportunities
- Conduct regular inspections of business performance, analyzing key metrics and identifying opportunities for optimization
- Deep dives on business inputs to perform variance analysis, identify product gaps and opportunities
- Collaborate effectively with product and operations leaders to achieve financial goals and drive success
- Deliver insightful recommendations to business partners, encompassing cost-saving measures and process enhancements
- Evaluate new projects and assess existing initiatives to provide well-informed go/no-go recommendations
- Stack rank projects for investments to optimize support and impact for Amazon selling partners
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science) and 5+ years of finance experience, or Masters degree and 3+ years of finance experience

- Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
- MBA
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
