The Role
Do you have an eye for detail and a passion for developing innovative solutions resulting in improved IT identity automation? As a mid-level Identity and Access management engineer at AMD, you have the opportunity to work in multiple technical environments cross functionally to secure and streamline solutions and processes.
The Person
Ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Enable Single Sign On integrations in multiple integration frameworks including SAML, OAUTH, and Open ID
• Administration, maintenance, and monitoring of Identity Provider systems including Okta and Redhat LDAP (RedHat Directory Server)
• Using an incident management system, track incidents and requests. Provide support for implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining identity management systems. Rapidly separate isolated user problems from enterprise-wide problem
• Perform 2nd level support to help desk and users, as required, establishing urgency of the problem and owning the problem through resolution keeping users informed of progress
  
• Supporting code that has been written to integrate IAM components such as Okta, LDAP and Active Directory using python and Powershell
• Automate manual operational tasks aiming to reduce manual operational efforts
• Setup analytical and real time monitoring to provide meaningful alerts and reports.
• Produce and update system and software documentation to record the IAM environment, including documentation of configuration settings, operating and recovery procedures and data structures.
• Troubleshoot IAM system/component failures and provide solutions
• Participate in on-call responsibilities for critical highly-available applications
• Candidate is required to work on shift in this 24x7 environment
  

Preferred Experience

• Broad and deep experience with computing, network and system software environments, including Linux systems, Windows systems, and certificate management
• 3+ years of coding in python and/or Powershell required
• In depth knowledge of Redhat LDAP (RedHat Directory Server) and Active Directory required

  Get Hired
  Experience with version control systems like Github is required
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and at times with little direction
  

Academic Credentials

• Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems or related discipline. Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
  

LOCATION:
Work from AMD Hyderabad
Candidate is required to work on shift in this 24x7 environment
Rotating Shift work covering Asia, EU and US time zones
