Job Description

    You will be responsible for performing all aspects of OSP engineering for fiber projects according to requirements and guidelines. This includes designing and drafting the fiber network with an optimal route through feasibility analysis. You will work within customer systems to produce a cost-effective engineering design for the construction team, aiming to reduce the need for multiple quality checks. Timely communication of any queries or concerns related to the project is crucial, as is supporting and delivering client submittals to meet OTP and quality requirements.

    Your role will involve planning fiber/copper cables to poles and placing underground cables in accordance with construction requirements. It is essential to take constructive feedback from QCs/Leads to improve efficiency and quality consistently. Flexibility to work in various teams/projects as needed and the ability to adhere to given timelines while adapting to changing priorities are key aspects of this position. You should also be open to exploring new working methods such as automation and process optimization.
    Additionally, you will be expected to take on new roles and responsibilities as assigned by managers based on business needs. Participation in training and feedback sessions is crucial, and you should demonstrate attentiveness and the ability to explain and recall information if requested by leads/trainers. Based on your expertise and skills, you may be moved to specific roles or jobs within the organization.

    To qualify for this position, you should have 1-4 years of experience in fiber network design engineering, specifically in ASE, F2, Green Field/DFIB, F1/F3 scopes of work. Preferred experience with AT&T is beneficial, and additional experience with LUMEN, Google Fiber, or similar companies is advantageous. Familiarity with tools such as Aramis, AutoCad, IQGEO, Any GIS tool, and Waldo is preferred. A B.Tech in any Engineering or equivalent field is required for this role.
