With a focus on digitization, innovation, and analytics, the Global Decision Sciences (GDS) team creates central, scalable platforms and customer experiences to help markets across all of these priorities. Charter is to drive scale for the business, and accelerate innovation for both immediate impact as well as long-term transformation of our business. A unique aspect of GDS is the integration of diverse skills across all of its remit. GDS has a very broad range of responsibilities, resulting in a broad range of initiatives around the world. Our team provides a dynamic and rewarding workplace which started in 2012 and is currently co-located in Bangalore and New York and involves dynamic and talented researchers with Ph.D. or Master’s degree from top tier institutes in India and abroad having research and product development expertise in AI/ML technologies such as – Algorithms, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Data Science, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Product Management, Cloud Technologies and related technical areas.
Team Description / Responsibilities –
Data annotation is the process of labeling the data available in various formats like text, video or images. For supervised machine learning labeled data sets are required, so that machine can easily and clearly understand the input patterns. Our goal as a Data Science Team is to improve the service for our customers by improving the accuracy of our NOVA models. As we improve the accuracy of these models, we enhance and humanize the experience by better understanding our customers needs.
Qualifications - External
Responsibilities –
The AI Optimization Analyst will be responsible for the following:

• Producing a daily annotation output of work which is high quality and highly accurate to make sure it can be used by our models and data scientists.


• Performing analysis to assess quality and meaning of data.


• identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction


• Working closely with the product team and data scientists. Your role would involve taking ownership of transcribing, tagging and annotating data for training deep learning models.


• Multi-tasking different projects while understanding each individuals models needs and functions.


• Communicating effectively and efficiently.


• Working in a collaborative and fast paced environment.


• Meeting project deadlines.
