The CFR team helps drive profitable business growth by reducing the risk of fraud and maintaining our customers confidence in the security of our products. It utilizes an array of tools and ever-evolving technology to detect, prevent and combat credit and fraud losses, minimize the disruption of good spending and provide a world-class customer experience. The team leads efforts that leverage data and digital advancements to improve service and risk management as well as enable commerce and drive innovation. CFR is responsible for developing and monitoring statistical models for predicting individual and commercial behaviors such as credit risk, fraud risk, spending and revolve. These models are used for key business decisions made across the customer life cycle to manage risk and accelerate profitable business growth. Underpinning our growth as a company are the tools and capabilities that ensure we prudently take and manage risk in a viable way.
How will you make an impact in this role?

• Responsible for developing machine learning models for managing credit and fraud risk for India market
• Evaluate and implement complex and relevant variables using multiple and external data sources and apply adjustments to the models, if needed
• Work on model tracking, performance and process monitoring and appropriately actioning on them
• Work with governance teams as required to get the models approved and implemented
• Work with vendor teams to deploy the models in production environment
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Past Experience: 2+ years relevant experience in Analytical Skills. Modelling experience is preferred, not mandatory
• Academic Background: Post Graduate Degree in Statistics/Mathematics/Economics/ Engineering/Management
  

Functional / Technical Skills:

• Hands-on model development or validation experience
• Experience in applying advanced statistical and/or quantitative techniques to solve business problems is preferred
• Effectively communicating complex results to Business Partners and Leaders.
• Flexibility and Adaptability to Work Within tight deadlines and changing priorities
  

Technical Skills:

• Experience with at least one of the data manipulation tools such as Python, SQL/Hive, PySpark is a must have.
• Machine Learning/ Artificial Intelligence, Expertise in Coding, Supervised and Unsupervised Techniques - Decision trees, Bayesian models, map reduce techniques, Random Forest, Gradient Boosting is preferred
