About Credit And Fraud Risk
Purposeful, ambitious, insatiable, analytical, collaborative and courageous are the hallmarks of our Credit and Fraud Risk team.
This critical team is responsible for managing enterprise risks through the customer life cycle and across all our global products. We develop industry-first data capabilities, build profitable decisioning frameworks, create machine-learning powered predictive models, and improve customer servicing strategies. This team has delivered industry-leading results year after year while enabling profitable growth and delivering a best-in-class customer experience.
This team is comprised of several diverse teams structured under four, core functions:
  • Credit Risk Strategy: Monitor portfolios and make profit-based risk decisions at all stages of the customer credit life cycle.
  • Decision Science: Build predictive models using AI/Machine Learning for all portfolios and products.
  • Fraud Risk Strategy: Develop fraud prevention strategies on behalf of our customers.
  • Risk Capabilities: Develop capabilities to manage data and execute business strategies.
How will you make an impact in this role?
The Manager/ Senior Manager Data Architecture will be responsible for the software product vision and deployment of the Risk Capabilities in the Risk Data platforms which is used in the Acquisition, Authorization, Underwriting, Fraud Management and Credit Collection processes. The successful individual ensures that his/her software product meets the evolving needs of Risk Management through continual innovation, evaluation and deployment. Requires strong organizational, technical and creative problem-solving skills. Must work well in a dynamic, complex environment and under deadline pressures. Incumbent would directly work with Solution Management team and Data Stewards to ensure correct data flows, design patterns, data reusability, meet required performance, availability and automation needs across markets and products.
The Manager/Senior Manager Data Architecture has ultimate responsibility for decision making for data related items in the Solution Management and ensure all the data architecture related items have been resolved within defined timelines for the set release cycle.
The Manager/Senior Manager will report and assist the Director Product Owner/Data Architecture.
Responsibilities
  • Work with solution management team to identify and analyze the data needs across different journeys.
  • Define the data flow across systems along with integration patterns.
  • Develop and maintain conceptual and logical data models.
  • Define the data consumption principals and architecture.
  • Define design patterns for complex data structures.
  • Coordinate with the PMs and DS teams to assess future needs and requirements and sync up with respective Share Service/API owners.
Qualifications
A successful candidate will have:
  • 5 years as Data Architect and SME in Financial Industry, Agile experience is Plus.
  • A good balance of technical knowledge and business acumen with a proven track record of driving digital innovation and business metrics with a customer-first mindset.
  • An established background in launching software or services in partnership with engineering teams and high degree of proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, Scaled Agile Framework and principles.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for great products and services and an ability to articulate product functionality.
  • Understanding of the evolving compliance and regulatory requirements and environment and how to incorporate technology, infrastructure and security requirements into the product design;
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners to drive collaboration and alignment.

  • High degree of organization, individual initiative and personal accountability.

  • Risk Capabilities experience is highly desired.
CS degree related technical field is ideal
