Senior Engineer, Calibration & Aftersales

Job Summary
The position is directly responsible for managing NABL ISO 17025 FOR LAND Lab and all aspects of the sales/service administration and coordination efforts including quote generation, tender submission, quote follow ups, shipment follow up with the factory, Invoice and payment follow up as needed to complete the sales and service process. The candidate will also be accountable and responsible for maintaining the data base that includes customer profiles, orders, shipments, tenders, bank guarantee requests, etc. Manage LAND India -NABL and for India region by coordinating with all the regional team, Commercial Team, SOP team for smooth business.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Follow up with customer to get their GST certificate, PAN and Bank details for customer registration in our ERP system.
• Coordinate with vendor/customer for registrations of AMETEK in their Database.
• Part code, HSN code creation in Navision.
• As advised by Sales Manager/Service engineer produce quotations and supporting documents in response to requests from the customers.
• Arrange proforma invoice or Credit approvals as per DLA for service and sales orders
• Order Management – Work with the SOP team to follow up on order acknowledgements, booking, invoicing.
• Work with commercial team on packing of materials and shipments along with docket details to customer.
• Inventory – Loan items for service tracking along with closing loan item with regular zero value invoice request.
  
• Raising PR for local vendor and request for placing PO to Land UK BU and maintain excel track for PR
• Maintaining and updating the data base – Quote tracker, customer data base, PR tracker , AMEcare orders ,Inventory loan tracker , booking and invoicing tracker.
  

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors Degree on Electronics Instrumentation/ Communication or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
• 3 to 5 years of experience performing Sales and Service support help desk role in a large enterprise environment
• NABL & ISO 17025: 2005 calibration standards knowledge
• Ability to work professionally with all levels of customer organizatons staff.
• Self-directed, able to prioritize and effectively handle multiple service requests at a time under high pressure and challenging situations.
• Excellent organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient technical knowledge of MS-Windows operating system, MS Office, Excel, O365 etc.
