Role : Head Business Development (Healthcare)
Location : Mumbai, India
The Opportunity :
This role is designed for a commercially driven leader to build and scale the growth engine of an esteemed stand alone, Multi-specialty healthcare institution.
The Head Business Development will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and unlocking new business opportunities.
This is a high-impact role with direct visibility to senior leadership, focused on accelerating growth through partnerships, market expansion, and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
Revenue Growth & Market Expansion :
- Own and drive revenue growth across key service lines
- Identify and unlock new growth opportunities, including new markets, segments, and business models
- Build and scale international patient business and referral networks
Partnerships & Alliances :
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships with hospitals, institutions, corporates, and ecosystem players
- Drive institutional business, including B2B and B2G relationships
- Identify high-value collaboration opportunities to expand reach and revenue
Business Development Strategy :
- Define and execute the organizations business development roadmap aligned to growth priorities
- Track market trends, competition, and emerging opportunities to inform strategy
- Build scalable pipelines and conversion frameworks
Commercial Excellence :
- Drive conversion, yield optimization, and revenue realization across channels
- Establish clear performance metrics and accountability mechanisms
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of growth initiatives
Leadership & Stakeholder Management :

- Partner with senior leadership on growth strategy and execution
- Build and lead a high-performing business development team
- Influence cross-functional teams to align with commercial priorities
What Were Looking For :
- 15 - 20 years of experience with a strong track record in business development, revenue growth, or P&L ownership
- Experience in healthcare, hospitality, aviation, or other service-led sectors preferred
- Proven ability to build partnerships, scale markets, and drive top-line growth
- Experience working in high-accountability, founder/promoter-led environments is a plus
- Strong commercial acumen with a sharp understanding of market dynamics and customer behavior
