Job Description
In charge of all legal matters for the group Anchanto
- Maintain and regularly update set of templates for any commercial agreements and SOWs involving customers, suppliers, and headcounts, across all the regions and countries like APAC, the EU, the UK, the US, India or wherever Anchanto is operating.
- Making sure execution and proper filling is done for all agreements in a central repository.
- Draft, review, negotiate contracts and be part of the negotiation team for contract to be signed with customers.
- Pro-actively assist the Company to ensure complete compliance with data protection laws (e.g., GDPR and PDPA), privacy regulations, and cybersecurity requirements. Coordinate internally with the Team members to process review and execution of documents expeditiously.
- Coordinate with external lawyers when necessary and on specific matters required.
- Work with Compliance Team to maintain a strong data protection policy, applicable to all countries.
- Develop and implement compliance training programs to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Make sure insurance policies are in line with requirements and decisions taken by the management.
- Work with various teams like HR, compliance, IT, Security, product and engineering Teams to review and update the existing Policies.
- In charge of all Risk Management matters for the group Anchanto
- Identify legal risks while drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and provide proactive advice to mitigate potential liabilities.

- Assist in preventing and resolving legal disputes, including customer disputes, contract disputes, and intellectual property disputes.
- Ability to work as a sole contributor for the position and at the same time be able to co-ordinate with stakeholders of other departments.
- Being diligent is what is key here.
- Past relevant experience in in-house (software industry, similar role) and the right attitude to assess and operate.
- Being reactive for the commercial contracts that always involved big amount of work for a short period of time.
- Strong Research skills to provide relevant information and formulate documents for any legal task.
