Junior Product Designer

Andersen is hiring aJunior Product Designer in Abu Dhabito support a public-sectordigital transformationinitiative, creating user-centric solutions that improve services, engagement, and operational efficiency.

The projectfocuses on digital transformation in the UAE to develop and support digital solutions, enhance social services, strengthen public engagement, advance international relations, andoptimizeadministrative processes.

Responsibilities:

• TakingresponsibilityforscopingandplanningUXprojects.
• Engagingwithproductmanagement,engineering,businessstakeholders,andthird-partyvendorstounderstandtheproject.
• Conductingconceptandusabilitytestingandgatheringfeedback.
• Leveraginguserresearch,tomakeproductimprovements.
• Developingandpresentingdocumentation,userflows,annotatedwireframes,interactiveprototypes,personasandotherresearchartifacts.
• Creatingandmaintainingusabilitydocumentation.
• Demonstratingtrackrecordwithapplyingbestpracticesinusabilityheuristics
• 
  Ensuringthatestablisheddesignstandardsareconsistentlyandappropriatelyappliedwithindesignwork.
• Communicatingregularlywiththeagiledevelopmentteamthroughdevelopmentsprints.
• Building acleanandeffectiveuserexperience.
• Gatheringrequirementsfromtheproductmanagement,engineering,andbusinessstakeholdersandbeingabletobuildsolutionsthatfitthoseneeds.
• Initiatingandcarryingoutcontinueduserresearchanddiscovery.
• Creatingandupdatinguserpersonas,userjourneysandsitemaps.
• Translatingconceptsintowireframes,prototypesanduserflows.
• Solving complex interaction problems, humanizing productideasand developing these ideas into elegant application design.

Must-have:

• Experienceasa ProductDesignerorinasimilarrolefor6+months.
• Deep knowledge of User Centered Design.
• FamiliaritywithDouble Diamond DesignApproach.
• UnderstandingofUXprinciples,personas, UserandUsabilityTestings,AccessibilityPrinciples.
• Good communicationskills and ownership ofidentifyingdesign steps from goals and vision.
• Empathy,abilitytoconnectwithpeopleandensurethattheirneedscomefirst.?
• ExperienceinanAgileenvironment.
