Assistant Engineer - Quality Control (Viralimalai)

Role & responsibilities

To implement a robust quality management system and lead the ISO, ASME, PED and other certification initiatives

To supply quality products in line with the requirements of our customers.

To aim at delivery of defect free products to customers.

Resolving any residual quality issues technically with internal/external suppliers/customers

Preferred candidate profile

Inward Inspection:

1. Daily review & closing of pending GRNs and raising note /Crediting of accepted / rejected / rework items

2. Inspection of BOF/Subcon parts, machined parts as per the drg, spec/QAP/scope/requirements.

3. Daily updating, monitoring & tracking supplier PPM and Interaction to drive action plan for reducing NCs.

4. Entry of data posting/insp. Results into SAP & Providing notifications to process owner if any NC.

5. Verification, Recording & preservation of inward inspection records, reports and test certificates.

6. Raising NCR's, CAPAR, monitor for CA, verify its effectiveness& improvement by visiting Supplier sites.

7. Analysis of customer complaints and responding with containment actions and effective CA/PA.

8. Evaluation & feedback ,active contribution on new sample developments.

In-house Calibration of MME(Measuring and Monitoring Equpments) :

1. Issue and Receipt control of Instruments/gauges and Equipment's.

2. Follow-up and collection of MME (both in-house & supplier) falls on due for calibration

3. Performing periodic calibration of MME (whichever possible) using internal facility.

4. Updating the History card of MME for both internal & external.

5. Review of calibration status of MME with Master List on monthly basis.

6. Disposal of rejected MME and Re-validation process on rejected MME by collecting the data with concern area

7. Receiving and verification of calibration certificate and records with the relevant std/document/P.O.

8. Ensuring&maintaining the identification traceability of parts and Insp.&testing equip. and its calibration
