Legal Counsel Fintech Payments

A fast-growing Fintech business is looking to take on an In-House Counsel to help drive the business forward. The company has a very strong foundation; enjoying excellent funding and a very high-profile senior leadership function. The firm has multiple business lines with a focus on the payments and crypto space, and has now reached the point where it makes commercial sense to bring the legal function in house.

In this role you will play a key role in helping the payments side of the firm to grow, ensuring full regulatory compliance whilst being a true business partner. You will work closely with the founders and C-Suite to allow significant business growth whilst remaining aligned with all regulatory responsibilities.

To be considered for this role you will have significant legal experience in the payments/Fintech space, have detailed knowledge of relevant jurisdictions, and have a commercially focused mindset. You will have experience in working with senior leadership teams, being the point of contact with regulatory authorities, and be well versed in the running of a fast-growth start-up in an ever changing sector.
