ROLE OVERVIEW:

For our client in the hospitality industry, we are seeking a highly driven and resilient Chief of Staff to help the Founder of a fast-growing, bootstrapped hospitality group.

This isnt a standard desk job; it is a gritty, hands-on, solve-and-deliver role for someone who wants to build something truly meaningful.

Your core mission will be to convert strategy into results, problems into solutions, and ideas into action across three distinct high-growth ventures: a scaling B2C QSR chain, a B2B corporate catering business targeting 40%+ CAGR, and an early-stage AI FoodTech venture.

This role is critical to the companys growth trajectory because you will directly drive the execution of mission-critical initiatives, from local optimization to international expansion.

ABOUT THE CLIENTS COMPANY:

Our client is a dynamic, founder-led group operating across the hospitality sector, focusing on long-term profitability rather than short-term noise. They are currently scaling multiple verticals:

• Primary QSR Brand: A modern South Indian fast-casual brand currently undergoing a national expansion through franchise and partner-led models.

• B2B Catering: A large-scale corporate catering operation currently serving thousands of meals daily to institutions.
  

• International Dining: Premium casual dining formats being launched outside India (first European outlet opening this year).

• Stealth FoodTech AI Venture: An early-stage, AI-led, product-first business solving challenges in the food ecosystem.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. STRATEGIC EXECUTION & SPECIAL PROJECTS

• Act as the Founders primary execution partner, taking full ownership of converting key founder-led strategies into structured, actionable plans across all business ventures.

• Manage and drive mission-critical special projects, ranging from European launch plans to AI product build-outs and P&L optimization in the catering division.

• Take clear accountability for the Founders goals, ensuring they translate seamlessly into your own performance outcomes.

2. CROSS-FUNCTIONAL LEADERSHIP & PROBLEM SOLVING

• Coordinate seamlessly with operations, marketing, product, HR, finance, external consultants, and vendors to move the needle on key initiatives.

• Adopt a Solve, Not Escalate mindset. You will be trusted to resolve operational and strategic challenges autonomously without pushing every issue upwards.

• Get things done through people, effectively collaborating with and influencing stakeholders who may have more experience or come from diverse backgrounds.

3. PROCESS & CAPABILITY BUILDING

• Drive internal process-building, hiring, and overall capability enhancement to support scale.

• Collaborate with external consultants when necessary while ensuring internal teams become stronger and more self-sufficient over time.

• Maintain a relentless focus on customer delight and operational excellence, ensuring quality is never compromised.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

a) Must-Haves:

• Educational Qualification: An engineering or business management degree (or both) from a high-quality institute, demonstrating structured thinking and strong fundamentals.

• Years of Experience: 5+ years of total work experience.

• Work Environment Exposure: Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced growth environment. You must be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and figuring things out on the fly. Ideally, your background includes experience in one large brand, combined with one or two smaller organizations.

• Execution Focus: A proven track record of converting strategy into plans and plans into tangible outcomes.
