About the Role:

We are looking for a technically skilled and client-oriented Pre-Sales Consultant to join our growing team in India. In this strategic role, you will be instrumental in supporting Sales Strategy & Closure, new opportunities by identifying client needs, Proposal and Documentation Preparation, Discovery workshops, meeting clients on location / travel & Requirement Gathering and demonstrating value through compelling presentations and Proofs of Concept (PoCs). Experience with Salesforce or related CRM platforms will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales and technical teams to analyse client requirements and propose tailored IT solutions.
  • Support sales engagements through RFP/RFI responses, solution architecture, and technical documentation.
  • Provide consultative guidance on solution capabilities, integration strategies, and scalability.
  • Leverage knowledge of Salesforce and other IT platform ecosystem to propose CRM-related enhancements or integrations when applicable.
  • Assist in the development of sales collateral, use cases, and proposal documents.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and opportunity data in the Salesforce CRM system.
  • Foster strong client relationships through ongoing communication, including regular in-person meetings and strategic check-ins.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 37 years of experience in IT Pre-Sales or Technical Consulting.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT systems, cloud solutions, and software integration.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a strong client-facing presence.

  • Proven experience in drafting proposals and handling technical presales documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to drive pipeline growth through a mix of cold outreach, targeted email campaigns, and in-depth market intelligence.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.) or certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Consultant).
  • Proven ability to turn greenfield territories into a customer base
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and people skills
  • Successful history of net new business and existing business upsell
  • Familiarity with CRM implementation lifecycles, data migration, and API integrations.
  • Experience working with B2B SaaS or enterprise IT platforms.
  • Exposure to tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma, or other sales enablement platforms.
