Maintenance Supervisor

Objective:

This position is responsible for supervising daily maintenance operations across retail and office facilities, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues, effective task execution, and adherence to safety and quality standards. The role oversees maintenance teams, coordinates with vendors, and ensures the smooth functioning of all building systems.

Key Responsibility:

Team Supervision & Task Allocation

• Lead and supervise a team of technicians across trades (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, AV, etc.).
• Assign and monitor daily maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
• Conduct on-site inspections and guide teams on best practices and safety compliance.

Maintenance Planning & Execution

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all retail and corporate assets.
  
• Ensure timely execution of repairs, installations, and servicing for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and AV systems.
• Monitor material usage, escalate spare part requirements, and minimize service downtime.

Vendor & Contractor Management

• Coordinate with approved vendors and contractors for outsourced repair and installation work.
• Review service quality, validate job completion, and follow up on warranty or defect-related issues.

System & Documentation Oversight

• Utilize CMMS or internal maintenance systems to track job requests, team performance, and inventory movement.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance logs, equipment history, and safety inspection reports.

Reporting & Compliance

• Compile and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on maintenance KPIs, service turnaround, and incident logs.

  Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards as per company policies and local regulations.

Cross-functional Coordination

• Liaise with Brand Operations, Projects, Admin, and Procurement teams to plan store openings, fit-outs, and technical upgrades.
• Participate in project handovers, inspections, and testing of newly installed systems.

Desired Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
• 46 years of experience in maintenance operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead technician role.
• Strong technical knowledge across multiple trades (MEP, AV, carpentry).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and emergency response protocol
