As part of the Business Planning team within AI/ML Annotation Operations, you will work with an impactful and fast-paced team and participate in the development of some of the most valuable products & features that delight our customers. The mission of the team is to build a scalable, transparent and measurable process to handle the human annotated assets development process. We are looking for a candidate who can work with team of financial analysts, and operational analysts for the newly established center of excellence. The person will need to manage annotations operations invoicing process, continuously improve the process and the communication with the distributed team comprising of Account managers, crowd managers and senior leadership to build an effective team offshore. The individual should be self driven, organized and have a structured approach to problem solving.
Key Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Data analysis, Business/Finance Operations and Program Management.
- Experience with building reports to visualize program progress, priorities, timelines, with risks & mitigation for various leadership levels (Executives, Engineering teams, Operations, Finance)
- Expertise in building financial modeling from scratch/improve existing models, hands on experience in data analysis and experience in using tools like Excel, VBA Macro, tableau Dashboarding is a must have
- Experience in setting up training and recommending standard methodologies for process efficiency, must have demonstrated influencing without authority skill in previous roles
- Ability to develop use cases and get along with technical teams in their own language and drive the automation
- Experience in working with teams in different timezones
- High level of detail while running several work-streams
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, to all levels of an organization
- Experience in delivery of large business improvement projects through the application of Lean Six Sigma (Six sigma certification is preferred)
- Proven working experience in project management/working in project based environment

While reporting into a Program Manager based out of Hyderabad, perform data analysis and reporting for Annotations operations by interacting with vendors and drive process improvement for invoicing, spend details, resource tracking from vendors. Drive processes for budget allocation, budget management, and forecast preparation. Work with team of analysts to continuously improve operational metrics and build standard reports that can be shared with leadership. Prepare executive reports that summarize the ongoing program status and highlights risks. Establish financial controls and processes to handle financial reporting requirements KEY FOCUS AREA 1. Work with vendors of Annotation program to ensure timely processing of the service entry sheets to enable timely processing of weekly/monthly invoices. Candidate would also work on developing and streamlining quarterly, yearly reports for leadership. 2. Interact with all concerned partners of the Annotation program with objective of improving the invoicing process and accompanying datasets to provide cost attribution, cost tracking and budget management. You have to engage strategically across our vendor portfolio and inspire changes that lead to process efficiency, automation and financial diligence. 3. Team of contractors and analyst who will design and develop operational and leadership level reports and dashboards that support operational planning and critical metric tracking, You need to be hands-on with day to day responsibilities and should be proficient with the models and reports to support the team. 4. Train and guide resources and as needed and undertake process improvement projects 5. Ensure that the team works in accordance with the approved company operating policies, procedures, practices and methods
Education & Experience
Bachelors in Business Administration or Finance or Statistics, MBA preferred
