Job Description
- As a Mechanical Engineer at Sandvik Mining, you will be responsible for leveraging your sound knowledge of Mechanical components, Selection criteria, and the significance of their characteristics and parameters. Your expertise will be crucial in hands-on experience with Mechanical systems/Hydraulic systems component selection and classifying components and subsystems based on their specifications/application. You will play a key role in modeling/detailing components and assemblies in UG/NX and ensuring the quality of various types of components and subsystem data in Teamcenter and allied systems. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining the quality of data in Teamcenter for Customs Coding and Export control coding, as well as documenting work for process improvements.
To excel in this role, you should have a deep understanding of International standards for Mechanical components, exposure to NX/Teamcenter integrated environment, and working principles of various Mechanical components such as Engine, Transmission components, Compressor, Basic mechanical elements, among others. The ideal candidate for this position should possess around 3-4 years of relevant experience and knowledge of mobile machinery, Hydraulic Components, HS Tariff coding, and Export control coding would be advantageous. Additionally, you should be well-versed in the functionalities between Mechanical components/systems, Engineering change processes, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical engineering is a minimum qualification requirement for this position. This is a Full-Time opportunity with an immediate start date. The form of employment is Full-time until further notice, with a 6-month probationary period.
