Job Description
- Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support the finance and operations team. The candidate will assist in managing accounts, inventory, statutory filings, ERP-based accounting, reconciliations, and other key administrative and IT-related tasks. The ideal candidate should be organized, proficient with accounting software (ERP), and capable of supporting the finance department in achieving its operational and strategic goals.
- Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounts Management:
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of accounts and ensure timely updates.
- Support in the preparation of budgets, financial reports, and management reports.
- Aid in research and analysis of financial data to support decision-making.
2. Inventory & Reorder Management:
- Help monitor stock levels and assist in managing reorder based on the defined ratios.
- Coordinate with the production department to support inventory forecasting and planning.
- Track and report on cut sizes and dead stock, and support in implementing disposal processes.
- Maintain records of receivables and payables.
- Support in resolving debtor issues and help prepare debit/credit notes as needed.
- Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding balances.
4. GST, TDS, and Statutory Compliance:
- Assist in timely GST filings and other statutory payments (PF, ESIC, EFCO, TDS, etc.).
- Maintain accurate records in ERP for all tax-related transactions.
- Support in preparing TDS/TCS returns and filing requirements.
5. ERP Accounting:
- Enter and update all accounting and tax-related data in the ERP system.
- Help maintain compliance with accounting and financial standards.

6. E-commerce & Bank Reconciliation:
- Assist in managing accounting for all e-commerce portals.
- Reconcile daily bank transactions, payment gateways, and cash flow.
7. Operational Support:
- Support in formulating and implementing operational strategies.
- Assist in reviewing price lists, discount structures, and help with touring and planning for achieving turnover goals.
- Coordinate and resolve routine office and IT-related issues.
8. Administrative and Other Duties:
- Assist with general office management tasks.
- Ensure daily routine tasks are managed efficiently and reported.
