Job Description
- AreteMinds Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Senior Node.js Backend Developer with over 6 years of experience to join our team in Subhash Nagar, Mumbai. As a leading tech company dedicated to providing top-notch software solutions worldwide, we are looking for a proactive individual to contribute to our dynamic and fast-growing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems utilizing Node.js.
- Create RESTful APIs and ensure smooth integration with front-end and third-party systems.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following industry best practices.
- Optimize applications for enhanced performance, scalability, and security.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications and services effectively.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Maintain technical documentation and ensure adequate unit test coverage.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in backend development with Node.js.
- Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+) and skilled in asynchronous programming.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API development.
- Familiarity with Express.js, NestJS, or similar Node.js frameworks.
- Knowledge of NoSQL and SQL databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL.
- Experience with version control tools like Git.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, API security, and OAuth/JWT.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployment is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
