Job Description
- Support Sales Execution – Contribute to the implementation of the regional sales strategy by identifying opportunities, supporting outreach efforts, and driving customer acquisition.
- Develop Customer Relationships – Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by supporting the full sales cycle from initial contact through closing and follow-up.
- Drive Business Development – Identify and approach potential customers, generate leads, and support the expansion of the customer portfolio across the region.
- Collaborate with Senior Sales Manager – Work closely with senior team members to gain exposure to account management, commercial negotiations, and customer development while progressively taking on more responsibility.
- Coordinate Customer Projects – Support the end-to-end customer experience by following up on briefs, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring timely delivery of solutions aligned with client needs.
- Represent the Company and Monitor Market Insights – Participate in client meetings and industry events while staying informed on market trends, customer needs, and relevant regulatory developments.
- Support Technical and Sensory Activities – Collaborate with internal technical and sensory specialists to support customer needs and participate in sensory evaluation sessions to build understanding of flavour solutions and applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing or a related field (e.g. Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, or similar); a science-related background (e.g. Chemistry or Food Science) is considered an advantage but not required.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a client-facing commercial role, preferably within a B2B environment.
- Strong commercial mindset with an interest in developing a career in sales within the F&B flavour industry.
- Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn, with the ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills in English. Any other language, an asset.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- Strong digital proficiency and ability to quickly learn new tools and systems.
- Exposure to the food & beverage or flavour industry is considered an advantage, but not required.
- Experience in consultative or solution-based selling, ideally within a B2B environment.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and assess customer needs.
- Basic understanding of supply chain or commercial processes, preferably within manufacturing or distribution environments.
- Exciting tasks in an internationally operating, growing family business with flat hierarchies.
