Job Description

    As a Credit Analyst, your primary responsibility will involve analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to assess credit risk. You will be required to identify and evaluate the level of risk associated with lending to specific borrowers. Additionally, you will be preparing and presenting credit reports, analysis, and recommendations to credit committees and senior management.
    Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal lending policies will be crucial in your role. You will also be responsible for monitoring the performance of existing loans and identifying any potential issues or delinquencies. Effective client communication is essential as you will need to engage with borrowers to gather information and address any questions or concerns they may have.

    To excel in this position, you should possess strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data and identify trends. Proficiency in financial modeling, statistical analysis, and data interpretation is essential. A solid understanding of financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements is required. Previous experience in credit analysis and making lending decisions will be beneficial.
    Strong communication skills are a must as you will be expected to communicate your findings and recommendations clearly and concisely. Attention to detail is another critical skill needed to identify and correct discrepancies in data and reports. Typically, a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required for this role.
