Accounts & Audit Manager

Job Objective and Overview

The Manager Accounts & Audit is responsible for managing daily accounting operations, monthly book closures, preparation of financial statements, and handling internal and statutory audits. The role ensures compliance with financial regulations and supports smooth functioning of accounting processes, preferably within the textile industry.

Responsibilities:

Accounting Operations

o Manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate recording of transactions.

o Maintain general ledger and ensure proper documentation of financial records.

Month-End Closing

o Handle monthly book closing activities within defined timelines.

o Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.

Financial Reporting

o Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.

o Analyze financial data and support management with insights.

Audit Handling

o Coordinate and respond to internal and statutory audits.

o Ensure timely closure of audit queries and observations.

o Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.

o Maintain strong internal controls and accounting processes.

Skills/Requirements:

610 years of experience in Accounts & Audit.

o Candidates from the Textile Industry are highly preferred.

o Candidates from Manufacturing Industry can also be considered.

o Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

o Experience in handling internal and statutory audits.

o Good understanding of statutory compliance.

o Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Excel.

o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

o Education: CA / MBA Finance / B.Com or related field.
