Job Description
Manager, Engineering Solutions Center
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of application engineers to deliver engineering solutions to the regional engineering teams and customers.
- Oversee and support hardware and software engineering design services, including:
- Provide advanced engineering support to the regional engineering team to maximum demand creation effort
- Reference design validation to align with customer requirements.
- Develop customized engineering solutions tailored to market and customer needs.
- Analyzes technology trends, human resource needs, and market demand to plan projects.
- Forecasts operating costs of department and directs preparation of budget requests.
- Directs personnel activities of department, such as recruitment, hiring, performance evaluations, and salary adjustments.
- Exercises limited management authority; sets employee performance objectives, conducts performance reviews and recommends pay actions
- Defines team operating standards and ensures essential procedures are followed based on knowledge of own discipline
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and customer requirements to maintain the organizations competitive edge.
- Accountable for the performance and results of a team within own discipline or function
- Provide technical training and development opportunities to team members to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and innovation within the engineering team.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering field.
- A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in electronics, semiconductor or R&D environment.
- Proven experience in managing engineering teams and delivering technical solutions.
- Strong background in hardware and software design, with hands-on experience in prototype and reference design validation.
- Deep understanding of electronic components, semiconductor technologies, and interconnect systems.

- Proficiency in engineering design tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of quality standards and compliance requirements in design and manufacturing.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and drive alignment on technical and business objectives.
