Job Description

The Vice President Human Resources / CHRO provides strategic leadership for all people-related functions across India and APAC, supporting 800+ corporate employees and 2,500+ IT consultants in the Staffing and Managed Services business.

This role is responsible for shaping a high-impact HR organization that supports business growth, operational scalability, and people excellence. As a key member of the executive management team, the CHRO will drive strategic HR initiatives, organizational transformation, digital enablement, and a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership

  • Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategy with business goals for staffing, managed services, and delivery operations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team on people strategy, organizational design, and succession planning.
  • Lead large-scale transformational projects across HR operations, talent management, and organizational culture to strengthen scalability and efficiency.
  • Drive integration and change management in mergers, acquisitions, or structural reorganizations.

Transformation & Process Excellence

  • Champion HR transformation initiatives, including process re-engineering, automation, and adoption of next-generation HR technologies (HRIS, analytics dashboards).
  • Implement data-driven decision-making frameworks to monitor workforce trends, improve agility, and enhance employee and contractor experience.
  • Lead the transition from transactional HR to a strategic, insights-led HR function.
  • Streamline contractor lifecycle processes.

Talent Management & Workforce Planning

  • Manage the complete lifecycle for corporate and contract workforceonboarding, engagement, performance, retention, and exit.
  • Develop scalable workforce planning models aligned with delivery and client demand.
  • Build leadership through targeted learning and development programs.
  • Conduct periodic talent reviews, succession planning, and readiness assessments.

Compensation, Benefits & Compliance

  • Design and administer compensation, benefits, and incentive programs tailored to corporate employees.
  • Partner with Finance to align compensation planning with business metrics and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with all local labor laws and statutory regulations across India and APAC.
  • Conduct internal HR audits and lead compliance readiness for client and global audits.

Culture, Communication & Employee Experience

  • Build and sustain a high-performance, inclusive culture through effective engagement programs and transparent communication.
  • Lead employer branding.
  • Sponsor organization-wide wellness, CSR, and cultural initiatives.

Learning, Leadership & Development

  • Build leadership capability and managerial effectiveness through structured development interventions.
  • Curate learning pathways to develop future-ready skills for delivery and support teams.
  • Foster a continuous learning and feedback-driven environment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA or advanced HR qualification preferred.
  • 15+ years of HR experience with at least 5 years in a senior/executive leadership role.

  • Proven expertise in Staffing, IT Consulting, ITES.
  • Demonstrated success in leading HR transformation or change management projects (e.g., system modernization, process redesign, shared services setup, or digital HR initiatives).
  • Experience managing large, distributed corporate and contractor workforce.
  • Proficiency in HR systems
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
