Role Description
Primary Skills (Must have skills):
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for data engineering, machine learning workflows and microservices-based applications.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of data and AI pipelines.
- Collaborate with data engineers and AI scientists to productionize machine learning models and data processing pipelines.
- Optimize data lakes for performance and cost-efficiency.
- Implement and enforce DevOps best practices, including version control, code reviews, and automated testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve the efficiency and reliability of our data and AI infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with security and data governance policies.
- Knowledge of cloud resource management and administration with focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM).
Primary Skills (Must have skills):
- Experience in a DevOps / SRE role, with a focus on data engineering and/or AI/ML environments
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their data & AI services
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes
- Exposure to CI/CD principles and tools, e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools, e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python or Bash
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong verbal / written communication skills

- Passion for automation and continuous improvement
- Experience with data processing technologies like Spark, Kafka
- Familiarity with AI frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, MLflow
- Certifications in Kubernetes technology, e.g., CKA, CKS, KCNA, KCSA etc.
- Exposure to Databricks platform is a huge plus
- Experience with healthcare domain
- Bachelors / Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field
