In this role, as a Fundraising Manager targeting corporate donors, you will be responsible for achieving fundraising targets in alignment with the organisation's strategy. Your focus will be on gathering business intelligence, including donor and competitor information, to identify and pursue new funding opportunities that align with the organisation's priorities. Your efforts will position the organisation as a leading child rights organization in India, helping to secure funds to support various projects benefiting underprivileged children.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders such as Programme Implementation Units, Programme Support, Finance, and Award Management, as well as external stakeholders including donors, SCI member countries, and peer organizations at the state and national levels. Your responsibilities will include achieving annual fundraising targets, maintaining and strengthening donor relationships, pursuing new donor opportunities, facilitating proposal development, and serving as a bridge between external donors and internal teams.
To excel in this role, you should have 5 to 9 years of relevant experience in a competitive market environment, with the skills to build new business relationships. Experience in the development sector is desirable. Key competencies for this role include strong interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills, leadership abilities, analytical and numerical skills, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.
