Job Title - Senior Designer

The Senior designer is a detail oriented professional responsible for managing the development processes within our client embroidery studio.

He / she works in collaboration with Paris-based teams to align on design instructions and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Translate the studio and client demands by developing embroideries (this includes samples, collection pieces, VIPs)
• Interpret artwork instructions and coordinate with the artist team, demonstrating a strong understanding of garment construction.
• Ensure all designs align with the artistic vision and standards of the clients/Studios
• Stay updated with the latest trends in fashion and embroidery to maintain a competitive edge
• Partner with the Paris team to understand and interpret client demands and preferences.
• Coordinate with the planning and organization leader to ensure project timelines and milestones are achieved.
• Liaise with the Paris team to receive design instructions and provide updates on project progress.
• Ensure all embroidery work meets required quality and design specifications.

  Conduct regular quality checks and provide feedback to the studio
• Be attentive to feedback and requirements, ensuring client/studios vision is accurately translated into the final product
• Adapt designs based on feedback and make necessary adjustments promptly
• Mentor and guide the team within the Vastrakala atelier, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
• Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance and develop their skills and autonomy.

Qualification - Fashion Design

Work Location - Chennai / Mumbai

Experience - 15+ years

CTC - Up to 18 LPA
