Accountant Consultant

The Opportunity

Ashoka is looking for an Accountant consultant to support audits and accounting duties. The person will be responsible for:

• Processing of Accounts Payables and Employee Reimbursements


• Posting entries in tally and Netsuite


• Preparation of Payroll statements


• GL finalization and Bank Reconciliation


• 
  Preparation of cash flows


• Working alongside the program and grant managers on budgets preparation and update


• Coordination with banks


• Preparation of donor reports in requisite formats


• Reconciliations of monthly activity, generating monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports

The ideal candidate should have:

• Experience with nonprofit accounting


• Knowledge in EPF, PT and TDS

• Good analytical skills


• 2+ years of accounting experience


• MS-office tools skills


• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting is a must


• Post-Graduation is preferred


• Experience working with Tally and Netsuite accounting systems also preferred


• This is a full-time position based in Bangalore.
