Introduction to role
We are looking for an experienced AWS Full Stack Engineer with 4 years of expertise in developing and managing applications across the full stack. The role requires a strong foundation in cloud environments, particularly AWS, and involves both front-end and back-end development tasks. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry will be considered a strong advantage, as it enables a better understanding of industry-specific applications and needs.
Accountabilities

• Full Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end and back-end components of web applications.
• Cloud Deployment: Apply AWS services for deploying, managing, and scaling applications.
• API Integration: Develop and integrate APIs for seamless connectivity between various applications and services.
• Security Implementation: Implement security standard methodologies to ensure data protection and compliance with industry standards.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize application performance, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with multi-functional teams including UX designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

• User Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and deployment guides.
• Industry Compliance: Ensure that solutions adhere to regulatory requirements, especially within the pharmaceutical sector.
  

Essential Skills/Experience

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 4 years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer with substantial experience in AWS.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation.
• Strong skills in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Experience in back-end development with languages like Node.js, Python, Java, or similar.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Industry Knowledge:
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
• Understanding of pharma-specific applications and compliance standards.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
