Junior Architect

We are seeking a passionate and talented Junior Architect (Site Operations) to join our growing team in the UAE. The successful candidate will assist in the design and development of architectural projects, providing technical expertise and creative solutions while working closely with senior architects and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Support: Assist in the preparation and development of architectural designs and concepts for a variety of projects (residential, commercial, mixed-use, etc.).

Technical Documentation: Prepare drawings, specifications, and presentations under the guidance of senior architects. Support the preparation of tender documents and assist in design reviews.

3D Modelling & Visualization: Develop 3D models and architectural visualizations using software tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and BIM.

Site Coordination: Assist in coordination between design and construction teams, ensuring that designs are correctly implemented at the site level.

Client Liaison: Work closely with clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring that architectural designs meet their requirements, budget, and timelines.

Research & Innovation:

Sustainability: Contribute to sustainable design strategies, ensuring compliance with environmental standards and local regulations.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

• Bachelors or Master s degree in Architecture from a recognized university.

Experience:

• 5 years of professional experience in architecture, preferably in the UAE or GCC region. Internships or academic projects related to architecture will also be considered.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of BIM tools and processes is a plus.

Design Skills:

• Strong conceptual and technical design abilities, with a keen eye for detail and quality.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively present ideas and designs.

Collaboration:

• Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Language:

• Proficiency in English (Arabic is a plus).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and construction practices in the UAE.
• Familiarity with sustainable design practices (LEED, Estidama, etc.).
