Job Role "Gold appraiser"
Location :accross Punjab
Key Responsibilities
- Gold Valuation: Physically inspect, weigh, and test gold purity using acid tests, touchstones, or specialized electronic equipment.
- Loan Processing & Risk: Determine the maximum loan amount based on current market rates, purity, and weight, minimizing risk from spurious or plated ornaments.
- Customer Service & Sales: Interact with customers, explain valuation results, and assist with loan disbursal.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure KYC compliance, maintain accurate records of transactions, and adhere to company policies.
- Market Awareness: Stay updated on fluctuating daily gold prices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of jewelry types, stone deduction, and testing methods.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately identify fraudulent or impure gold.
- Experience: Typically 15 years of experience in jewelry, banking, or pawn, though some roles accept freshers.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for client interaction.
