Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced "Learning and Development Partner" to join our bank in Delhi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing learning and development programs that enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of our retail branch banking employees. This role will play a critical part in driving employee growth, improving customer service, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Training Needs Analysis:
- Conduct regular assessments to identify skill gaps and training needs across retail branch banking teams.
- Collaborate with branch managers, HR, and business leaders to align learning initiatives with business goals.
2. Program Design & Delivery:
- Design and deliver engaging training programs for retail banking staff, including customer service, sales, product knowledge, compliance, and soft skills.
- Develop e-learning modules, workshops, and on-the-job training programs tailored to the needs of branch employees.
- Utilize a variety of training methodologies (classroom, virtual, blended learning) to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
3. Performance Improvement:
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
- Provide coaching and support to branch employees to enhance their performance and career development.
- Ensure all retail banking staff are trained on regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and internal policies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, banking regulations, and best practices to incorporate into training programs.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Partner with HR, branch managers, and senior leadership to create a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on learning strategies and employee development.
6. Learning Technology & Tools:
- Leverage learning management systems (LMS) and other digital tools to deliver and track training programs.
- Explore innovative learning technologies to enhance the training experience.
7. Budget Management:
- Manage the learning and development budget for the region, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in learning and development, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs for retail banking or sales teams.
- Strong knowledge of retail banking products, processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning tools.
- Certification in training and development is an advantage.
