Job Description
- Act as the primary marketing contact for the Volkswagen dealer network
- Ensure dealer feedback is actively incorporated into retail campaigns
- Develop and manage a structured meeting cadence with dealers, Sales, and Marketing teams
- Conduct regular dealer visits to ensure alignment on strategy and execution
- Manage and promote the internal dealer portal, coordinating content across teams
- Lead the planning and execution of retail marketing campaigns focused on lead generation and dealer engagement
- Implement the regional retail communication marketing strategy across all markets
- Ensure retail campaigns are rolled out across all communication channels and activities
- Collaborate with Brand, PR, Digital & Performance, and Events teams to deliver integrated campaigns
- Support dealers with CI/CD and approve locally produced retail campaigns and ad-hoc communications
- Ensure timely sharing of campaign assets, plans, budgets, and regional communication materials
- Work closely with the Digital & Performance Manager to optimize media plans for lead quality and showroom traffic
- Track, analyse, and report on lead and campaign performance
- Collaborate with Sales to assess campaign impact on retail and dealer performance
- Manage retail marketing budgets, including evaluation, allocation, and ongoing control of dealer spend
- Lead the annual dealer marketing planning process
- Manage monthly dealer marketing reports (Retail, After Sales, Used Cars)
- Deliver monthly brand marketing performance reports to dealers
- Control dealer targets aligned to overall VME business objectives
- Liaise closely with Sales to align marketing strategies with commercial goals
- Partner with PR and Events teams to support dealer initiatives through events, influencers, and media
- Coordinate regular meetings with Sales to maintain alignment on business priorities
- Manage and train a Marketing Intern
- University degree in Event Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years' marketing experience within the automotive industry, preferably with multinational companies
- Strong experience in retail marketing and dealer network management
