Job Description
- As a Senior Technical Manager - Middleware / Web Infrastructure at our company, you will be responsible for the service, technical, and people management of the Middleware infrastructure team. You will serve as the owner for key technologies and platforms such as Websphere Application Server, JBoss, WebLogic, and IHS.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage the global AIS Middleware & Web infrastructure team functionally and operationally
- Take ownership of service delivery for Middleware & Web infrastructure platforms
- Ensure 24x7 operation of Middleware services and supporting technologies
- Represent the team during high impact incidents and problem review processes
- Communicate effectively with TIS UK and India management
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to Middleware team members
- Collaborate with TIS, Delivery, and Business teams to optimize service availability and reliability
- Manage capacity to support the Delivery projects pipeline
- Report on service availability, project progress, and service improvements
- Maintain and execute the service continuity plan
**Qualifications Required:**
- Relevant experience in managing a Middleware/Web Infrastructure team or complex, multi-resource middleware projects
- Proven track record as a Senior Manager
- Extensive knowledge of related infrastructure domains such as Operating Systems, application servers, and databases

- Good academic record with external focus and thorough knowledge of the industry and competition
- Ability to lead strategic thinking and communicate effectively
- Self-starter, team-player, with a can-do attitude and resilience in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for stakeholder engagement
This role requires a background in Middleware, with expertise in technologies like Websphere Application Server, Weblogic, Tomcat, JBOSS, and experience in global Middleware management. The educational qualifications include B.Sc, B.Com, M.Sc, MCA, B.E, or B.Tech.
