Job Description
Role Overview:
As the Marketing Head - Diabetics, based in Mumbai, you will spearhead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies to drive growth and market share for our diabetes-focused product portfolio. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales, medical affairs, market access, and regulatory affairs to ensure alignment and effective execution of marketing plans. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping brand perception, driving patient engagement, and ultimately improving the lives of individuals living with diabetes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies for the diabetes portfolio, encompassing brand management, digital marketing, market research, and pricing strategy, to achieve revenue and market share targets.
- Lead the brand management function, ensuring consistent brand messaging and positioning across all channels to build brand equity and customer loyalty.
- Drive digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, social media marketing, content marketing, and email marketing, to enhance online presence and generate leads.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, informing strategic decision-making.
- Define and implement pricing strategies that optimize profitability while maintaining competitiveness in the market to maximize revenue and market share.
- Oversee the development and execution of promotional campaigns, product launches, and educational programs to increase awareness and adoption of our diabetes products.
- Manage and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability to achieve team and individual goals.
- Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and market share in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, particularly within the diabetes therapeutic area.
- Proven expertise in brand management, digital marketing, market research, and pricing strategy, with a strong understanding of the Indian healthcare market.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Adaptable to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- 12-20 years of relevant experience.
