Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented professional for the role of Head Marketing & Business Development to lead business expansion initiatives across Gulf countries for Industrial Automation and Control System solutions. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in international business development, strategic sales, key account management, and client relationship management within the Industrial Automation domain.

The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, driving revenue growth, developing strategic partnerships, and managing large enterprise accounts across sectors such as Oil & Gas, Power, Water Treatment, Manufacturing, and Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and drive business development activities across Gulf countries for Industrial Automation, Instrumentation, PLC, SCADA, DCS, and control system solutions.

- Identify and develop new business opportunities with EPC contractors, OEMs, consultants, and end-user industries.

- Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve business growth and revenue targets.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and clients across target industries.

- Generate inquiries, evaluate project requirements, and prepare techno-commercial proposals and tender submissions.

- Handle contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and commercial closures with clients.

- Manage and grow key accounts while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

- Coordinate with engineering, technical, and project execution teams to ensure smooth project delivery and timely execution.

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new growth opportunities.

- Participate in client meetings, technical presentations, exhibitions, and industry events across Gulf markets.

- Ensure achievement of sales targets, order booking goals, and profitability objectives.

- Provide regular business forecasts, MIS reports, and market intelligence to senior management.

- Lead, mentor, and guide the business development and sales teams to improve performance and market reach.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of Industrial Automation, Instrumentation, PLC, SCADA, DCS, and control systems.

- Expertise in Gulf market business development and international sales.

- Strong understanding of industrial processes and automation solutions across multiple industries.

- Excellent techno-commercial negotiation and proposal management skills.

- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and team management capabilities.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to build long-term relationships with clients, EPC companies, and consultants.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a business-oriented mindset.

Preferred Industry Experience:

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Automation or related field).

- MBA in Marketing or International Business would be an added advantage.

- Proven experience in handling Gulf region clients and industrial automation sales.

- Strong network within EPC contractors, industrial clients, and OEMs across Gulf countries.

- Experience in managing large-value industrial projects and solution sales.

- Willingness to travel extensively across Gulf countries for business development activities.
