Role & responsibilities:
Leadership:
- Developing and leading a team, keeping them motivated, and hiring and onboarding new recruits
Sales strategy:
- Architecting a sales strategy and conducting market research to inform and guide the company's sales efforts
Sales planning:
- Defining, implementing, maintaining, and updating sales plans, including sales forecasting, goal setting, and market and customer research
Sales metrics:
- Measuring metrics and profitability, and increasing the sales team's bottom line
Training and mentoring:
- Communicating with and training sales teams to build proactive, high-performing teams
Analysing trends and results:
- Monitoring supply and demand, competitor offers and costs, and analysing market trends and results to determine selling prices and sales objectives
Closing deals:
- Helping close the largest deals
Working collaboratively:
- Working collaboratively across teams

Providing visibility into the sales pipeline:
- Providing visibility into the sales pipeline
Preferred candidate profile:
- The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors in Engineering degree or the necessary experience to understand solenoid valves and their applications.
- Minimum of 25 years' experience in selling engineered products, with at least 5 years of experience in heading the Sales in an organization.
- At least 5 years experience in handling & managing Sales Team across the Globe, and having proven track record of business development in the Exports market from scratch
- Should have basic understanding of legal documents / contracts / NDA / JVs.
- Experience and comfort in preparing and delivering technical and sales presentations to all audiences.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be a self-starter who is able to translate strategic direction into their own tactical action plan and then successfully execute those plans to meet and exceed revenue growth objectives of the company.
