Job Description
- As a PSS Sales Manager in India at Autoliv, your primary responsibility will be to drive sales efforts within the country, focusing on growing the business with India Car OEMs and Tier Ones. Your role will also involve expanding into new markets and sectors such as battery storage, charging stations, and electric motorcycles. Reporting to the Head of Global Sales for PSS, Wantao Chen, you will be a key member of the PSS sales team.
Your key responsibilities will include developing and executing a sales strategy to penetrate the automotive OEM market in India, establishing key relationships, and driving opportunities from lead generation to closure. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product development, marketing, and customer success will be essential. Additionally, you will be required to conduct local market research and analysis to identify emerging trends or competitive threats and meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related field and have a proven track record of success in sales within the automotive industry related to the electrical field. A strong understanding of the automotive market, industry trends, and key players is required, with experience in battery safety being favorable. Strong communication skills, proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems, strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and willingness to travel as needed are also essential traits.
