Hybrid Working
We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We’re flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances These requests will be reviewed and agreed for a period of time i.e., will have a start and end date.

Introduction
o Work with development teams to create test plans for enhancements and fixes on applications.
o Under minimum or no supervision carries out procedures and tests to ensure that information systems meet standards and end user requirements.
o Mitigate risks to Business through timely and precise execution of manual/automated test scripts under minimal supervision.
o Responsible for specific test phases
o Preparation and execution of test ware – scenarios, cases and data
o Produce test results/screenshots & evidence those through Agile Central/ JIRA
What will you be doing?
o Participate in requirements gathering and analysis activities and assessing the application from test automation perspective.
o Understanding functionality related to given module.
o Develop and execute formal test plans within schedule and budget constraints.
o Develop test specifications based on various requirement documents within schedule constraints
o Document defects & track till closure
o Create & execute complex test ware - estimates, scenarios, cases, data
o Develop test bed and verify test environments.
o Set up necessary monitoring / profiling tools to identify and isolate performance bottlenecks
o Perform functional and technical test execution activities (automated tests, where applicable) as per engagement level in the project
o Assist the Test lead/ manager in managing the testing day to day
o Build knowledge repository on best practices on using specific test tools
o Uses utilities and tools to support testing
o Create and maintain required MI for the project/ module, update agile central.
o Sharing of re-usable components to test engineering colleagues and other test teams
o Deliver test automation improvement initiatives within the project group.
o Conform to established best practices and any appropriate test automation standards
o Provide guidance to other team members on technology/domain/application queries
What we’re looking for:
o Knowledge of Experian Powercurve SM, TransactSM, Affordability and Lending Applications
o Testing new strategies or enhance existing strategies using PCSM & PCCM
o Experience in query tuning, optimization and rewriting to fetch large amount of data
o Expert in creating testing scenarios and batch testing data.
o Basic knowledge of Oracle SQL/SAS
o Expert in Data Mining and Data Analysis
o Requirement study for arriving at a set of Risk Decision System Business test plan.
o Well versed with test fundamentals and test process.
o Working knowledge of API testing.
o Hands on experience in UI, ETL and API test automation.
o Should have exposure of framework creation and working experience of karate framework.
o Knowledge of JAVA, Gradle, Maven, extent reporting, BDD, Cucumber, Jenkin, GIT, team city.
o Knowledge of JIRA tracking tools
o Challenging and supportive mindset.
o Strong technical background with detail driven and excellent problem-solving abilities
o Good product and testing acumen
o Proven track record for agile, test-driven development, behaviour driven development, continuous integration, and automated testing
Skills that will help you in the role:
o Conform to established good practice and any appropriate test automation standards
o Strong experience in Agile with experience working in Agile Scrum methodology. Some Agile certification is preferred.
o Exposure to Continuous Integration (CI) Environment/ tools such as Jenkins, Team City, etc and BDD
o Knowledge of Agile Central and JIRA
o Certification: ISTQB/CSTE / CSQA
o Good to have exposure of service virtualization.
