What youll do

Want to kick off an exciting career with a growing cloud technology business Avalara is looking for highly energetic, customer-centric, driven professionals to join our Sales Development organization as an Account Development Representative (ADR) supporting our North American Market. Experience supporting and clients from the North American Region is mandatory.

Using your natural sales instincts, you will gain experience interacting with clients and prospects of all levels in different industries and across North America.

This role is based in Pune and reports to the Sales Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and qualify incoming web and phone inquiries regarding Avalara products.
  • Become an expert on products and services to be sold and maintain relevant industry knowledge.
  • Create a great first impression to our prospects and customers by providing them with a world class experience.
  • Drive customer participation in webinars, certification events, and/or conferences
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest in Avalara products.
  • Achieve monthly quotas of qualified and sales accepted opportunities.
  • Actively collaborate as a team member within the department and the organization as a whole
  • Manage Accounts and build up your sales pipeline.
  • Generating the right party contacts through the accounts assigned
  • Supporting US clientele and will be required to work in Night Shifts

What Youll Need to be Successful

  • Minimum bachelors degree is preferred.
  • 34-year relevant professional experience in Outbound Sales
  • Account Based Marketing (ABM)
  • Experience being held to and motivated by metrics.
  • Experience supporting and clients from the North American Region is a must
