Credit Risk Associate - Student Loans

What role you will play in team: You’ll be part of a team assessing the creditworthiness of students applying for education loans. You’ll contribute directly to responsible lending practices for this niche.

What you will do: You’ll analyze financial documentation, assess credit risk, and determine eligibility for student loans within established guidelines.

Key responsibility:

• Review student loan applications, including academic transcripts, financial statements, and co-borrower information.
• Assess the creditworthiness of students and co-borrowers.
• Determine eligibility for student loans based on risk assessment and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of the loan application process.
  
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistent application of credit guidelines.
• Contribute to the improvement of the student loan application process.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with credit risk assessment principles
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
