What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Responsible for Reinsurance Financial Reporting activities which will include Statutory Reporting activities for the Reinsurance business.
- Responsible for the preparation of various reconciliations which include GAAP vs IFRS17 and IFRS 17 vs. IFRS17 + Local STAT Adj.
- Responsible for the in-depth analysis of OPEX based on Legal Entity on a quarterly basis.
- Preparation of STAT IS and BS commentary on a quarterly basis.
- Support the management team on a regular basis for any ad-hoc request.
- Preparation of Schedule T, Schedule P and Schedule F (including CDCA) on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Preparation and posting of various GAAP to Stat Adjustments journals.
- Detailed analysis of numbers, analyzing trends and reporting the same to management.
- Maintain effective communication with onshore (both written and verbal) and manage expectations.
- Develops and maintains process documentation.

Required Skills And Abilities
- Statutory Reporting or Regulatory Reporting skills: CA with relevant years of experience in Statutory Reporting or Regulatory Reporting for NAIC.
- Excellent Accounting knowledge.
- Good Analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Good exposure to working on Excel and Presentations. Knowledge of VBA is an added advantage.
- Communication skills: effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- MS Office skills: Should have excellent MS Excel skills.
- Able to work and communicate effectively as part of a cross-geographic and cross-cultural team.
- Good team player and ability to work resiliently.
- Excellent customer-focus and results-oriented.
