Job Description
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the Mass Health claims department and ensure timely processing of claims.
- Supervise and mentor a team of claims processors, fostering an environment of continuous learning and development.
- Monitor compliance with state regulations and internal policies related to Mass Health claims processing.
- Analyze claims data to identify trends and areas for improvement in processing efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex claims issues and improve overall service delivery.
- Develop and implement training programs for claims staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Assist in the preparation of reports for management to track key performance indicators and operational metrics.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in claims management, preferably within the health insurance sector.
- Strong knowledge of Mass Health regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and driving performance improvements.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in claims management software and MS Office applications.
