Deputy Manager - Total Rewards/Compensation & Benefits - Aviation Industry
Job Description
Job Purpose:
This job requires a dynamic individual who understands the holistic view of the Total Rewards function and with customer-centricity, thus help ensure appropriate data management, analytics and initiatives.
Principal Accountabilities:
Compensation & Benefits:
- Design, review, and implement compensation structures across job levels and business units.
- Preferably knowledge of compensation plans for India & Expat employees. Manage salary benchmarking exercises using market data and industry surveys (Aon, Mercer).
- Pay parity administration (internal & external parity checks), defining pay ranges.
- Supporting annual Performance Management & promotion process for the organization.
- Performance Incentive administration inclusive of design and retention plans.
- Analyze compensation trends and provide strategic insights/recommendations.
- Manage employee benefits and reimbursements (leave policy, etc.
- Policy Formulation & Governance - draft, review and implement HR policies.
- Review and update practices in line with market best practices and organizational needs.
- Annual Budgeting inclusive of cost impact analysis.
- HR Technology/Systems & Reporting.
- Monthly reports, dashboards.
- HR analytics for C&B.
- Lead Internal Audits - spoc for HR & Admin - internal, statutory and compliance related.
- Vendor coordination and managing invoice clearances.
- Payroll Management.
- Oversee monthly payroll processing (payroll is outsourced), ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory laws (PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, Bonus, Gratuity, etc.
- Review payroll inputs, reconciliations and validations such as new joiners, exits, leaves, attendance, and deductions.
- Ensure payroll accuracy.
- Support with salary reports, payslip , Form16, and other payroll documentation.

General C&B related:
- Creating and maintaining employee personal files.
- Query handling on C&B inclusive of payroll related.
- Managing employee self service portal & e-ticketing system.
- Drive automation and process improvements for process efficiency.
Education qualification and pre-requisites:
Education qualification and certifications - PGDBM/PGDM/MBA in HR.
- Min of 8-10 years of experience relevant experience in Compensation & Benefits, including overseeing payroll with knowledge of payroll systems and statutory requirements in India.
- Very good in Microsoft office (especially word and excel).
- Digital HR orientation (should have worked on process streamlining/automations) Experience with HCM platforms.
- Exposure to either HCM or process automation implementation.
