Process Overview

Global Markets Technology & Operations provides end-to-end technology solutions for Global Markets businesses including Equities, Prime Brokerage, Interest Rates, Currencies, Commodities, Derivatives and Structured Products. Across all these products, solutions include architecture, design, development, change management, implementation and support using various enterprise technologies. In addition, GMT&O provides Sales, Electronic Trading, Trade Work Flow, Pricing, and Market Risk, Middle office, Collateral Management, Credit Risk, Post-trade confirmation, Settlement and Client service processes for Trading, Capital Markets, and Wealth Management businesses.

:Quality Engineer for GFF Technology

We are looking for a highly motivated Quality Engineer who Develops, enhances, tests, and supports, maintains, and debugs software applications that support business functions for Repo Trading desk.

Responsibilities

• Manage QA work end to end for the project


• Collaborate with developers, users and all relevant stakeholders


• Take ownership of automation


• Learning new technologies and framework



• Interact with product owner for prioritization

Requirements

• 
  Education- Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science or any engineering stream

Certifications If Any-

Experience Range- 4 to 7 years

Foundational skills

• experience in test automation framework development and execution using Test Complete, Selenium, UFT, Cucumber or comparable test automation tools.


• experience in Test planning, End to End testing execution and Co-ordination, web application, API & web services testing experience.


• Strong Defect and change/release management experience.


• Must have solid business knowledge in the Investment Banking / Capital Markets.


• Extensive working knowledge with Front office applications, Pre and Post Trade life cycle, Straight Through process.


• Must have hands on experience with testing of Short term fixed income products such as Commercial Paper, Certificate of Deposit, Repo and Reverse Repo etc.


• Hands on experience with Defect Tracking and Test Case management tools such as JIRA and ALM-Quality Center and qTest.


• Hands on with any programming / scripting languages like Java, Python and UNIX Shell script etc.


• Able to work well within the constructs of an agile process, including SCRUM, Continuous Build and Integration, etc.


• Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently; able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.


• Very good verbal and written communications skills.
